My Therapy House 2021 Survey – Results
Thank you to those families who participated in our 2021 Annual Client Satisfaction Survey. As with 2020, 2021 has been challenging in new and different ways for everyone. We appreciate everyone’s support and patience, working together with us through these challenges.
Here’s what you had to say!
Overall Satisfaction
- 93.75% of families loved our service
- 6.25% of families liked our service
We continue to improve on previous satisfaction survey results, which shows us that we are continuing to meet the ever-changing needs of our community.
This year we were able to relax some of our COVID-19 restrictions, allowing more freedom to access our outdoor play area, as well as welcoming most of our clients back for face-to-face services. Everyone is now generally accustomed to wearing facemasks and social distancing and the survey indicated that everyone is satisfied with the cleanliness and hygiene measures we have in place.
Positive Response
Generally, families felt:
- Better supported in advocating for themselves and their child;
- Listened to;
- Better at interacting with their child.
Where we can improve:
- Finding better ways in which we can support families to connect with the wider community;
- Helping parents to better understand themselves and their own perception of their child.
Administration
We continue to provide Telehealth as an option for families, with some choosing to take this up on a regular basis, and others using it in addition to face-to-face services as needed.
We are continuing to streamline our administration, and have been working hard to make our forms easier to complete, and our reports more readable. We do understand that there is still considerable email volume and appreciate all feedback we receive around this.
And finally …
Our favourite part of the Annual Survey is asking what word your child would use to describe what My Therapy House means to them. We try to create a positive and meaningful environment for all the children where they see hard work and therapy as enjoyable, rather than a difficult task. The word for 2021 is … FUN!
