All in the Day of a Telehealth Allied Health Play Clinic

So much has changed at My Therapy House® since closing the clinic for face-to-face consults and starting our Telehealth sessions from home.

So much has changed at My Therapy House since closing the clinic for face-to-face consults and starting our Telehealth sessions from home. They are actually video play sessions! The clinic has gone quiet … it’s very sad being the only one left …

However, we are very grateful to be connecting with many of our wonderful clients online. Thank you to everyone for allowing us into your homes. We have been running, crawling, crashing, bouncing, drawing, singing, playing with the children.

It’s been an exciting week. We have been able to provide parents and grandparents with practical strategies to try at home, as well as the video of our sessions together so the children can enjoy them during the week.

To maintain our contact and communication with each other, Kerry, Alyssa, Christie and I have scheduled a daily online meeting as well as getting the hang of various means of keeping in contact – online chat, email, phone calls.

It’s been challenging not seeing each other and being able to have a quick catch-up or chat but we have all adapted and are managing to stay on top of all the daily tasks, and are creating new ways of interacting with each other and our families.

Here are some beautiful moments of our work with the clients over the past week.

Thank you to the children, parents and grandparents for embracing this phase of our life and coming on this interesting journey and allowing us to share these moments with others.

Stay safe. Stay healthy. Stay home, when possible, and don’t forget to wash your hands!

Up Close and Personal with Kristine Orbiso

From my very first interactions with the team, there was something that just felt different. The environment felt warm, personal, and genuinely connected. I was looking for a place where people support one another, openly share ideas, and are passionate about growing together.

Why I Wrote Attuned Workplaces

I did not write Attuned Workplaces because I wanted to add another book to the world.
I wrote it because I could no longer ignore what I was seeing.
