“I believe in creating a happy, understanding, and positive environment for everyone.”

As a Level 2 Therapy Assistant, Charlotte assists the therapists at My Therapy House. She works with families to implement the client’s goals and strategies, and to transfer the skills they learn into their home and community. She has a strong drive to communicate with and help people.

After years of travelling the world and discovering new cultures and places, Charlotte has finally found her home in Australia.

Before completing her Certificate III as an Allied Health Assistant, Charlotte graduated with a Bachelor of Office Management and worked for more than 7 years as an Admin Professional. She has always had a passion for helping people, and after volunteering for a couple of years as a Learning Club Tutor for the Smith Family to support children with learning difficulties at school, Charlotte decided to change careers, and use all of her creative skills in the play space to support children and their families as they learn about each other, develop deep, meaningful relationships, and build confidence and resilience.

Charlotte continues to add to her already broad skill set by working closely with the My Therapy House multidisciplinary team while studying Speech Pathology at UniSA.

Charlotte’s favourite saying is, “Carry on smiling and the world will smile with you.”

Charlotte is working in a back-office support role while she is studying.
