Our Occupational Therapy team has grown!

My Therapy House is very excited to welcome Judy, our new Occupational Therapist to the team.

Judy is warm, friendly, and welcoming and is able to connect with children in a playful way. She enjoys exploring with children in play and movement activities, supporting children to try new activities, and to self-regulate through their emotions and different experiences.

Judy’s favourite part about Occupational Therapy is that it supports people holistically, where the whole person is always considered, be that physical, emotional, sensory, cognitive, or social aspects. Everything about a person is acknowledged as an important part of them and play is a huge role in their engagement. Judy also loves that Occupational Therapy places an emphasis on ‘meaningfulness’, she thinks it highlights the importance of doing everyday activities that can at times be taken for granted– like playing with a peer or swinging on a swing.

Judy is very excited to be a part of the My Therapy House team where she will have the opportunity to be a part of the children’s journeys in their play skills development, supporting their sensory processing and regulation.

She looks forward to meeting everyone!

Up Close and Personal with Kristine Orbiso

From my very first interactions with the team, there was something that just felt different. The environment felt warm, personal, and genuinely connected. I was looking for a place where people support one another, openly share ideas, and are passionate about growing together.

Why I Wrote Attuned Workplaces

I did not write Attuned Workplaces because I wanted to add another book to the world.
I wrote it because I could no longer ignore what I was seeing.
