At My Therapy House, We Speak Your Language Because Connection Matters

At My Therapy House, we believe every child and family deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported - in a way that makes sense to you. That’s why we are proud to be a multicultural, multilingual team.

At My Therapy House, we believe every child and family deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported – in a way that makes sense to you. That’s why we are proud to be a multicultural, multilingual team. We bring our hearts, our cultures, and our languages to work every day to create a welcoming space for families from all backgrounds.

We provide therapy for children with autism, disabilities, and social-emotional challenges. We also support parents and caregivers through training in developmental strategies that build connection, confidence, and communication. Our services are available both in-clinic and via Telehealth for rural and remote families across Australia.

Our Multilingual Team

Our staff speak:
Nepali, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Greek, Portuguese, Lithuanian, and English.

This means families can often access support in their home language – making it easier to share their hopes, challenges, and goals without worrying about how to say it. It’s not just about words. It’s about feeling safe, seen, and understood.

Why a Multicultural Team Matters

Many of the families we support are navigating new systems and services in a second or third language, while also trying to understand their child’s unique developmental needs. That’s a lot. Having someone on your side who understands your language, your traditions, and your way of seeing the world can feel like a breath of fresh air.

At My Therapy House, our multicultural team means:

  • We can offer sessions and support in different languages, when available
  • We listen without judgement and with cultural sensitivity
  • We adapt our therapy plans to fit your family’s values and routines
  • We learn from one another, and grow together with you

Together, We Create Belonging

Being a multicultural team isn’t just about speaking different languages. It’s about being open, curious, and respectful. It’s about knowing there are many ways to love, parent, communicate, and connect – and all of them are valid.

We’re not here to change who you are. We’re here to walk alongside you and help you and your child thrive, just as you are.

At My Therapy House, we celebrate diversity, because every culture brings something beautiful to the table. And every child, no matter where they’re from or how they communicate, deserves to feel that they belong.

A multicultural, multilingual team at My Therapy House.

Up Close and Personal with Kristine Orbiso

From my very first interactions with the team, there was something that just felt different. The environment felt warm, personal, and genuinely connected. I was looking for a place where people support one another, openly share ideas, and are passionate about growing together.

Why I Wrote Attuned Workplaces

I did not write Attuned Workplaces because I wanted to add another book to the world.
I wrote it because I could no longer ignore what I was seeing.
