My Therapy House is very excited to welcome Maria & Nikita, our new Speech Pathologists to the team!
Maria and Nikita joined My Therapy House in September 2022, and have been busy getting to know all our wonderful families.
Maria is enthusiastic, friendly and enjoys connecting with clients and their families to support their communication goals. She enjoys helping children express their ideas and coaching parents to develop a greater understanding of how to promote their child’s language development. Maria’s favourite part about speech pathology is that it provides creative ways through play to help children ‘find their voice’ to share their thoughts, feelings, ideas and connect with others in their environments.
Nikita is warm, friendly and enjoys building rapport and connecting with children through play. She enjoys supporting children to explore and communicate their thoughts and ideas during play. She believes that parents and caregivers know their child the best and are the most important people in their child’s early years, therefore it is important to support parents and caregivers to understand their child’s communication development and help them provide their child with opportunities to develop and reach their potential.
Nikita’s favourite part about speech pathology is that it provides children with a variety of opportunities and ways to communicate, build positive relationships and form friendships.
Maria and Nikita are so happy to be a part of the My Therapy House team, where they have the opportunity to be a part of maximising children’s development, setting them up for success now and in the future.
