Children’s relationships influence the way they see and learn about the world. These relationships help children express themselves, share attention and engage with people in different environments.
As a speech Pathologist, Nikita is passionate about using play in therapy by creating activities that are enjoyable for children where they can develop new skills at their own pace. She also likes to create fun and playful environments that provide opportunities for children to practice the newly learnt skills while exploring and experimenting with toys and enjoying activities that are closely linked to the child’s interests.
Nikita is a certified Hanen® Speech Pathologist in It Takes Two to Talk® and More than Words®. She has completed the DIR 101: An Introduction to DIR® and DIR Floortime® course through the Interdisciplinary Council of Development and Learning (ICDL). She also completed the SOS® Approach to Feeding training conference.
Nikita’s clinic days are Mondays through Fridays.
